Visiting Places of Worship
The syllabus adopted by Bath & NE Somerset SACRE for Religious Education in schools Awareness, Mystery and Value includes sections on Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism, as well as Christianity.
Teachers of Religious Education may wish to contact members of faith communities to arrange either group visits to the place of worship, or speakers to visit the school/college. Although not all of these faith communities have places of worship in B&NES, we are fortunate that many are represented nearby in Bristol.

Interfaith Groups
The area also has several Interfaith Groups, which meet regularly to bring members of different faiths together in fellowship and to share ideas. In addition, Christian denominations co-operate to foster mutual understanding and social action through local Churches Together.
